Become a Board Certified Christian Counselor

Why Board Certification in Christian Counseling Matters In today’s world, leaders, mental health providers, and ministry workers are encountering people who are carrying deep emotional, psychological, and spiritual burdens. Yet too often, care is divided: pastors focus on the spiritual, clinicians focus on the psychological, and leaders focus on the practical. What’s missing is a comprehensive approach that treats the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. That’s where Board Certification in Christian Counseling comes in.

Why It’s Needed

● For Leaders & Pastors: To effectively shepherd people who are facing depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, and relational struggles—equipping you with tools that go beyond preaching and into practical care.

● For Mental Health Providers: To bridge clinical practice with biblical truth, ensuring patients receive care that honors both science and faith without compromise.

● For Community Workers & Advocates: To meet people where they are—in shelters, schools, prisons, and recovery programs—with wisdom, compassion, and evidence-based strategies rooted in Scripture.

● For Anyone Seeking to Understand Wholeness: To gain the knowledge and skills needed to walk alongside others in their healing journey, while also deepening your own spiritual and emotional health.

Why It Matters Now

● Mental health challenges are on the rise, and the church cannot afford to remain silent.

● Leaders are often the first point of contact when people are in crisis—yet many feel unprepared to respond wisely.

● Traditional counseling sometimes dismisses faith, while traditional ministry often overlooks mental health. This certification brings both worlds together.

The Goal

The Board-Certified Christian Counseling Program equips you to confidently counsel, teach, and guide others with a balanced foundation of biblical truth, clinical insight, and compassionate practice. It prepares leaders not just to manage symptoms but to minister to the whole person—bringing healing, deliverance, and hope that lasts.
